കോഴിക്കോട് : റോഡ് മുറിച്ചുകടക്കുകയായിരുന്ന വയോധികക്ക് കാറിടിച്ച് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം.

മുക്കം ഗോതമ്പ്‌റോഡ് സ്വദേശിനി പാറമ്മല്‍ നഫീസയാണ് (71) മരിച്ചത്.

എടവണ്ണ - കൊയിലാണ്ടി സംസ്ഥന പാതയില്‍ മുക്കത്തിനടുത്ത് ഗോതമ്പ് റോഡില്‍ ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചക്ക് ഒരു മണിയോടെയാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. പള്ളിയിലേക്ക് പോകാന്‍ റോഡ് മുറിച്ചു കടക്കവെ മുക്കം ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് വന്ന കാറാണ് ഇടിച്ചത്.

ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ ഇവരെ അതേ കാറില്‍ അരീക്കോട് സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചില്ല.
