കൊട്ടിയൂർ: കൊട്ടിയൂർ ഉത്സവം 2027 നടത്തിപ്പ് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടർ പി. വിഷ്ണു രാജിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ കളക്ടറേറ്റ് കോൺഫറൻസ് ഹാളിൽ അവലോകന യോഗം ചേർന്നു.

തീർത്ഥാടകർക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കൊട്ടിയൂർ അമ്പലത്തിന്റെയും തിരക്ക് കൂടുതലായി അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളുടെയും പരിസരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഹോം സ്റ്റേ തുടങ്ങിയവ സജ്ജമാക്കാൻ പദ്ധതി ആവിഷ്കരിക്കണമെന്ന് കളക്ടർ നിർദേശിച്ചു.

കൊട്ടിയൂർ ഉത്സവത്തോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് ശൗചാലയങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണം. നിർമാണ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ മികച്ച രീതിയിൽ പൂർത്തിയാക്കണമെന്നും ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡിന് നിർദേശം നൽകി. ദേവസ്വത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നിലവിൽ 200-ലേറെ ശൗചാലയങ്ങളാണ് തീർത്ഥാടകർക്കായി പണിയുന്നത്.

അക്കരെ കൊട്ടിയൂരിലേക്കുള്ള രണ്ട് ഇരുമ്പ് പാലങ്ങളുടെ ഫിറ്റ്നസ് പൊതുമരാമത്ത് വകുപ്പ് പാലം വിഭാഗം ദേവസ്വവുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് പരിശോധിക്കും. ഉത്സവ സമയത്തുണ്ടാകുന്ന മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാൻ അനുയോജ്യമായ പദ്ധതികൾ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി റിപ്പോർട്ട് നൽകാൻ ശുചിത്വ മിഷന് കളക്ടർ നിർദേശം നൽകി.

ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ എത്തുന്നവർ ജില്ലയിലെ മറ്റ് ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ കൂടി സന്ദർശിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യതകൾ കൂടി കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് നടപടികൾ കൈക്കൊള്ളണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം നിർദേശിച്ചു. പ്രാഥമിക ചികിത്സയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളെ കൂടി ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ച് 24 മണിക്കൂർ ചികിത്സാ സഹായം ലഭ്യമാക്കുമെന്ന് ഡിഎംഒ അറിയിച്ചു.

നിലവിൽ വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകളുമായി കൂടിച്ചേർന്ന് തയ്യാറാകുന്ന ആക്ഷൻ പ്ലാൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിലേക്ക് നൽകാൻ യോഗത്തിൽ തീരുമാനമായി. അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കളക്ടർ എസ്. സ്വാതി, എഡിഎം കെ. ബാലഗോപാലൻ, ഡിടിപിസി, ഫയർ ആൻഡ് റെസ്ക്യൂ, പിഡബ്ല്യുഡി, വാട്ടർ അതോറിറ്റി, കെഎസ്ഇബി, ഇറിഗേഷൻ, ഹരിത കേരളം, ശുചിത്വ മിഷൻ, മലബാർ ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡ്, കെആർഎഫ്ബി, എഎംവിഐ എന്നീ വകുപ്പ് പ്രതിനിധികൾ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

English Summary: Kottiyoor Festival 2027 conduct review meeting held under chairmanship of District Collector P Vishnu Raj at Collectorate Conference Hall. Collector directed to formulate plan to set up homestay etc in vicinity of Kottiyoor temple and temples where heavy rush is experienced as part of providing more facilities to pilgrims. Ensure basic facilities including toilets in connection with Kottiyoor festival. Directed Devaswom Board to complete construction works in best manner. At present more than 200 toilets are being built for pilgrims under leadership of Devaswom. Fitness of two iron bridges to Akkare Kottiyoor will be checked by PWD Bridge Division in collaboration with Devaswom. Collector directed Suchitwa Mission to submit report including suitable projects to handle waste generated during festival time. He also directed to take steps considering possibilities of those coming to temples to also visit other tourism centres in district. DMO informed that 24 hour medical assistance will be made available including private hospitals in connection with primary treatment. Meeting decided to submit action plan currently being prepared in collaboration with various departments to government.
