2000 രൂപയ്ക്കു മുകളിലുള്ള വ്യാപാര ഇടപാടുകൾക്ക് ഫീസ് ഈടാക്കാനുള്ള തീരുമാനം നീട്ടിവെച്ചു. ഉത്സവ സീസണോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് വ്യാപാരികൾക്കുണ്ടായേക്കാവുന്ന ആശയക്കുഴപ്പം ഒഴിവാക്കാനാണിതെന്ന് നാഷണൽ പേയ്‌മെന്റ് കോർപ്പറേഷൻ (എൻ.പി.സി.ഐ.) അറിയിച്ചു.

വ്യവസായ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ, ഫിൻടെക് കമ്പനികൾ, പേയ്മെന്റ് സർവീസ് പ്രൊവൈഡർമാർ, വ്യാപാരി സംഘടനകൾ എന്നിവർ ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് നിവേദനം നൽകിയിരുന്നു. ഒക്ടോബർ 15 മുതൽ നിരക്ക് പ്രാബല്യത്തിലാകുമെന്നായിരുന്നു നേരത്തെ അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നത്. നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന കൃത്യമായ തീയതി എൻ.പി.സി.ഐ. പിന്നീട് അറിയിക്കും.

2,000 രൂപയ്ക്ക് മുകളിലുള്ള യോഗ്യമായ ഇടപാടുകൾക്ക് 0.4 ശതമാനം നിരക്കിൽ ഫീസ് ഈടാക്കാനാണ് നിർദേശിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. പരമാവധി 300 രൂപ വരെയാകും ഈടാക്കുക.
