അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി ദന്തല്‍ കോളജ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി നിതിന്‍ രാജിന്റെ മരണത്തിൽ പ്രിൻസിപ്പാളിനെയും അധ്യാപികയെയും പ്രതി ചേർത്ത് ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച്. പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ ഡോ.വിനോദ് മോണി, അധ്യാപിക ഡോ. ലത ശശിധരന്‍ എന്നിവരെയാണ് പ്രതി പട്ടികയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയത്.

പ്രതി ചേർത്തതിന് പിന്നാലെ ഇരുവരും തലശേരി ജില്ലാ സെഷന്‍സ് കോടതിയില്‍ മുൻകൂർ ജാമ്യ ഹർജി നൽകി. അധ്യാപകൻ ഡോ. എം കെ റാമാണ് കേസിൽ ഒന്നാം പ്രതി.

ഏപ്രില്‍ 10നാണ് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് കെട്ടിടത്തിന് മുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് നിതിന്‍ രാജ് ചാടി മരിച്ചത്. സംസ്ഥാന ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് എസ് പി കെ വി വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ മേല്‍നോട്ടത്തില്‍ ഉള്ള സംഘമാണ് കെസ് അന്വേഷിച്ചത്. പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഏപ്രില്‍ 30നാണ് അന്വേഷണം ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ചിന് കൈമാറിയത്.
