കണ്ണൂര്‍: പയ്യന്നൂരില്‍ ഭാര്യയെ പെട്രോള്‍ ഒഴിച്ച് തീകൊളുത്തുന്നതിനിടെ ഗുരുതരമായി പൊള്ളലേറ്റ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് മരിച്ചു. സി.വി സനല്‍കുമാറാണ് മരിച്ചത്. കണ്ണൂരിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെയാണ് മരണം. പരിക്കേറ്റ ഭാര്യ പി. പ്രജിഷയും ഭാര്യ മാതാവ് പി. പത്മിനിയും ചികിത്സയിൽ തുടരുകയാണ്.

വിവാഹ മോചനത്തിന് കേസ് കൊടുത്ത വിരോധത്തിലാണ് സനല്‍കുമാര്‍ ഭാര്യയെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചത്. ഇരുവരും ഏതാനും നാളുകളായി വേര്‍പിരിഞ്ഞ് കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു. പ്രജിഷയുടെ വീട്ടില്‍ അതിക്രമിച്ചു കയറിയായിരുന്നു കൊലപാതക ശ്രമം.
